Privacy notice
We process your personal data only to the extent needed to reply to your enquiry, meet our legal obligations and protect our legitimate interests. This notice summarises what we collect, why, for how long, and your rights under the GDPR (EU 2016/679) and the Slovak Personal Data Protection Act 18/2018.
Data controller
The controller is MP Industrial Solutions s. r. o., registered at Skrabské 158, 094 33, Slovakia. Privacy contact: office@mp-is.eu. We respond to data-protection requests without undue delay and at the latest within 30 days.
What we collect
From the contact form: name, email, optional phone, company, pillar selection and your brief. From traffic: IP address, User-Agent, locale and a NEXT_LOCALE cookie (functional, does not identify you). No analytics or marketing tracking — we do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or anything similar.
Purpose and legal basis
Contact-form data is processed to reply to your enquiry and to conduct any follow-up commercial communication. Legal basis: GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) (pre-contractual steps) and (f) (legitimate interest in responding to a proactive enquiry). The consent checkbox is an informed-acknowledgement record, not the primary legal basis.
Retention
Contact data is kept for a maximum of 12 months from last contact. Data tied to a concluded contract is kept per Slovak tax and accounting law (up to 10 years). After the retention period we erase the data securely.
Recipients and third parties
We do not share data with third parties for marketing. Our IT stack runs on our own EU infrastructure. If we later add an external processor (hosting, email forwarding), this list will be updated.
International transfers
No personal data leaves the EEA today. If processing outside the EEA becomes necessary, we will rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses per Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2021/914.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and to object. Send any request to office@mp-is.eu. You may also lodge a complaint with the Slovak supervisory authority — Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov SR (www.dataprotection.gov.sk).
Security
The site and the contact endpoint use HTTPS with HSTS, CSP and standard OWASP controls. Backend logs do not retain email addresses or message contents (PII scrubber — only the email-domain suffix and message length are logged). Raw data is accessible only to the founder.
Changes
Material changes (new purposes, new processors) trigger an update here and a bumped revision date in the header.
